What files can I upload?
SRT, ASS, SSA, VTT, SBV, SUB, SMI, and LRC files are supported in the subtitle workflow.
Do I need an account before using AI tools?
Yes. AI translation, bilingual merge, and summarizer runs start after sign in so credits, files, and progress stay tied to your account.
Can I still use the free tools without translating?
Yes. Cleaner, timing shifter, and converter are available as utility tools, and saved history works better once you sign in.
Is the translation live or queued?
Both. Short runs may start quickly, but production processing can queue work so a separate worker can handle it safely.
Credits & Billing
How are credits calculated?
Credits are estimated before the run starts based on subtitle size, cue density, and processing overhead, then reserved for the job.
What happens if a batch gets stuck?
If a queued job stays stuck for too long, it can be failed automatically or cancelled manually once it qualifies, and reserved credits are released back to your balance.
How long do credit packs last?
Purchased credit-pack vault credits expire 30 days from the latest qualifying top-up date.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes. Subscription state follows the billing provider confirmation. Once cancellation is confirmed, the website updates your subscription benefits accordingly.
Why does Mayar ask for a mobile number?
Mayar requires a mobile field when creating a payment link. That requirement comes from the payment provider, not from subtitle processing itself.
Files & Retention
How long are translated files kept?
Standard pay-as-you-go access lasts 1 day. Active subscriptions keep files available for 7 days unless the plan details say otherwise.
Are files public?
No. Files and outputs are stored in private server paths and are downloaded through the app, not through public file URLs.
Can I keep editing a subtitle after download?
Yes. The account area includes preview, edit, and export actions. Local editor changes stay in your browser until you export a new file.
Do summary sessions stay forever?
No. Saved summary sessions are removed after 30 days without activity unless you delete them earlier yourself.
Quality & Output
Will translated subtitles always be perfect?
No. AI output is fast, but you should still review language quality, timing, formatting, and context before publishing.
Can I get bilingual SRT and ASS output?
Yes. The bilingual tool exports both SRT and styled ASS output when the run succeeds.
What does the subtitle cleaner actually remove?
You can selectively remove SDH notes, speaker labels, formatting leftovers, music-note symbols, hearing-impaired descriptions, and extra punctuation or whitespace.
How does the timing shifter work?
The timing shifter uses milliseconds. One second equals 1000 milliseconds. Positive numbers push subtitles later, while negative numbers pull them earlier.
