Terms of Service

The practical rules for using Translate My Sub, including credits, files, subscriptions, billing, and acceptable use.

1. Using the service

You may use the service only for subtitle, transcript, or text content you have the right to process. Abuse, fraud, scraping, automated exploitation, credential sharing, payment abuse, or attempts to bypass rate limits or credit controls are not allowed.

2. AI-generated output

Subtitle translations, summaries, and other AI-generated outputs can still contain mistakes. You remain responsible for checking language quality, timing suitability, formatting, rights, cultural context, and publishing suitability before distribution or commercial use.

3. Accounts and authentication

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens through your account. Verified email may be required for account access or recovery. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe the account is being used for fraud, abuse, or technical harm.

4. Credits, top-ups, and expiry

Credits are deducted according to the estimate shown before an AI run starts. Free trial credits, promotional rewards, and share rewards can expire. Purchased credit-pack vault credits expire 30 days from the latest qualifying top-up date. Queued jobs may temporarily reserve credits until they complete, fail, or are released.

5. Subscriptions and cancellations

Subscription terms, renewal timing, and pricing are shown at checkout. If a subscription is cancelled by you, by an admin action, or by the billing provider, the app may downgrade retention and subscription benefits after the provider confirms the state change. Already-granted credits or already-processed work are generally not reversed unless required by a refund decision.

6. File retention and downloads

Files and outputs stay available only for the access window shown in your account or plan. You should download and verify important work before the retention window ends. Expired files, outputs, and inactive saved sessions may be deleted automatically without additional notice.

7. Availability, queues, and rate limits

The service may apply queueing, worker processing, provider fallback, capacity limits, request ceilings, or temporary restrictions to protect stability. A queued translation that remains stuck for too long may be failed or cancelled and its reserved credits released according to the product rules in effect at that time.

8. Refunds and disputes

Refund handling depends on the product type, provider policy, and the status of the processed work. Chargeback abuse, fake claims, or repeated fraudulent payment activity may result in access restrictions, account review, or permanent loss of service access.

9. Changes to the service

Features, pricing, supported formats, limits, and legal terms can change over time. Material changes may be published in the product or on the legal pages. Continued use after those changes means you accept the updated terms.
